At StartMotions, animals and the environment are the only reasons why we exist! Literally. Our goals are to ultimately preserve animals and their natural habitat. Since humans are a large part of the picture, another important goal is for us all to co-exist peacefully without conflicts. StartMotions was created to protect innocent beings from disrespectful treatment caused by humans, and we do it by creating animations that raise awareness about current situations that endanger them and their longterm health.
StartMotions admires animals, they've really got it figured out. Remember when you were little and you made forts or igloos or treehouses? It was great to pat the walls around you and make it windproof or oogieboogie-man-proof, and sometimes you'd take care of something like a doll or a salamander. Maybe you'd also go get food when you're hungry and sleep when you're tired? At one point in our lives, (this is what StartMotions thinks) we go from being an animal animal to being a human, with no relation to animals at all. We forget what it's like to enjoy the things around us. As we grow up, we learn animals are something we use, not admire or follow. Yet, animals have figured out the best ways to survive and do so without permanent damage to other species around them.
We (all humans) wouldn't even be alive if it weren't for the generosity, or hospitality of the environment around us. StartMotions respects the environment, and has found a way to happily, efficiently, and sustainably co-exist with the natural world around us. Our work is animation, which is the "illusion of life". We're helping create new life, and this is true on multiple levels!
